SEAT9K LLC was founded by Fredrik Olav Anderson in 2005. Mr Anderson has been in the airline industry since 1988,having worked at Varig Brazilian Airlines and the consulting firm SH&E. Mr Anderson has done network and/orprofitability analysis with airlines throughout the world, including:
These airlines and others throughout the world face the challenges of intense competition from major airlines. Most airline products on the market are designed for major carriers with large resources; few analysis tools are affordable, simple to use, and designed for carriers with fewer than fifty aircraft. These medium-sized airlines are unable to compete with the major airlines of the world.
Mr Anderson has dedicated himself to designing products and providing consultingservices that will tackle the problems these airlines face. He has analyzed the route profitability of airlinesto illustrate how resources can be better allocated, and has redesigned airline route networks to maximize connectabilityand aircraft utilization. By working directly with these airlines, Mr Anderson has also designed customized programming models that quickly analyze data without the errors inherent with manual data entry.
